Stop Confusing Gender Expression and Sexuality

When I joined the Yizhan fandom, which celebrates the idea of a love relationship between Chinese actors Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan, I wasn’t expecting to see so much debate about heteronormative gender roles for them. I think many people who exist in fandom are not, themselves, queer, and may not realize that gender and sexuality are a lot more nuanced.
